Staff Training

(last updated 01 Mar 2003)

Two Training Categories

Staff training works best when divided into two categories.  First, staff members need to learn administrative techniques which will allow them to run the Family History Center.  Second, they should learn basic genealogical research methods so they can help patrons.  Administrative training will be covered in later additions to this site.  To briefly cover genealogy research methods and materials, here's a presentation I gave at the Brigham Young University Family History Conference of August 2000. (full presentation)
