Ancestral File: Family databases submitted by the public. Contains submissions as of January 1998. Downloads limited to 13 generations. Printouts not limited to a certain number of generations. Contains submissions made after January 1998. Lacks LDS ordinances & descendancy reports. Downloads and printouts limited to 4 generations at a time.
International Genealogical Index (IGI): Databases submitted by members of the LDS Church for temple ordinances.  Contains submissions as of January 2000. Ancestors linked only in twos and threes - not families and not pedigrees. DOS IGI contains only genealogical data. DOS Ordinance Index contains genealogical and LDS ordinance data. Submissions added weekly. Ancestors linked in families and  pedigrees.
Military Index: U.S. veterans who died in Korea during Korean War, and veterans who died inside and outside of Vietnam during Vietnam War. Complete. Not included.
Pedigree Resource File: Ancestors linked in families and pedigrees. Unlike Ancestral File, databases of multiple submitters are not merged. Not included in FamilySearch DOS. However, Windows-based CDs are available from the Distribution Center, and can be ordered at www.FamilySearch.org. Online version contains genealogical data but not the sources, notes, or LDS ordinances found on the CD version.
Scottish Church Records: Database extracted from Scottish parochial registers, 1500-1850s. Complete. Not included.
Social Security Death Index:  Index of deceased persons for whom Social Security claims were made. Includes only about 10% of those who applied for Social Security numbers. Data as of March 1999. Data updated annually.
